ABOUT YOU
We are hiring highly motivated individuals to lead our Quality and Strategic Management Office and provide expert advice to Force and Senior Leadership on evolving program and management system requirements. In this role you will directly influence the quality and strategic direction of the NAEW&C Force. Your responsibilities will span strategy project and program management quality and risk management process optimization and IT automation.
The ideal candidate will hold a university degree and possess substantial professional experience relevant to the subject area. They should demonstrate strong senior-level supervisory and executive leadership skills along with the ability to effectively brief and advise diverse audiences. A deep understanding of policy development quality assurance life cycle management and process evaluation within a strategic context is essentialpreferably gained in an air command and control setting aircraft operations or maintenance or within the commercial aerospace sector. Fluency in English is required as well as a working knowledge of Automatic Data Processing (ADP) systems. Additionally knowledge related to relevant international NATO or NAEW&C Force policies and standards would be considered as an advantage (e.g.: ISO STANAG or AQAPs). Further formal training and certifications relevant to the subject field/assigned duties will be considered as a highly valuable asset (e.g.: Quality Management Six Sigma Black Belt Lead Auditor).

The Office of Quality and Strategic Management advises on all areas related to quality- strategic management and information & knowledge management and is responsible for implementing these management systems. The Office is a driver for change and continuous improvement. Through the design and implementation of assurance and internal control systems the Office ensures that the Force Commander achieves the priorities and objectives.

CONTRACT
Serving civilian members of NATO will be offered a contract in accordance with the NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations.
Newly recruited staff will be initially offered a definite duration contract of three years. Thereafter an indefinite duration contract might be offered.
