Job Description

Quincy Public Schools is seeking a licensed speech-language pathology assistant to support the speech-language pathologists in providing services to special education students with communication disorders in a Prekindergarten setting.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides direct instructional services to students in individual or small group settings under the supervision of the SLP and in alignment with the students communication goals as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Prepares materials necessary for speech and language lessons including activity materials visual schedules picture icons topic boards.
  • Performs informal record keeping and basic clerical duties to support the supervising SLP.
  • Assists the SLP in scheduling therapy sessions
  • Maintains files/records of required documentation
  • Qualifications:

  • Speech Language Pathology Assistant License through the Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Division of Professional Licensure Commonwealth of Massachusetts
