Media Technology Aide (Computer Instructional Assistant) for Great Oak Elementary SchoolReporting to School Principal and District Technology DirectorThe Computer Instructional Assistant is a tech-savvy member of the school team who enjoys working with students. This person is willing to help teachers and students with basic technical support along with promoting media technology and digital citizenship skills to students.
Provides entry-level computer support to students and teachers;
Troubleshoots school level computer problems on Chromebooks and other classroom technology and works with technology team members to resolve them;
Reinforces classroom instruction through edtech apps including but not limited to G-Suite for Education (Google);
Maintains records and tracks technology equipment;
Co-facilitate the Media Block for students in the library and help students learn technology and digital literacy skills
Performs other duties as assigned by the site principal and district technology director.
