Driver with CDL License preferred
This position will be responsible for providing transportation of student athletes Athletics staff and/or baggage and equipment within the conference play region via the operation of college owned and rental vehicles. CDL License preferred.
EXPECTATION OF EMPLOYEE:

- Acts as a role model within and outside the College
- Performs duties as workload necessitates

- Communicates regularly with supervisor about schedule
- Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate 24 passenger bus
Conduct safety and maintenance inspections of vehicles
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle interior
Assist with loading and unloading of baggage and equipment
Adhere to applicable safety rules and all traffic laws and regulations
Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Education and / or Experience -- High school diploma or its equivalent or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication / Language -- Requires effective oral and written communication skills and basic interpersonal skills. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
Reasoning -- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to independently resolve problems.
Certificates Licenses Registrations Valid State issued Drivers License or CDL
