  • 27711 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 37 hours per week - Flexible working options available

Your role

As a Business and Finance Officer youll play a vital role in supporting our Adult Social Care Services across West Suffolk. Reporting to the Senior Business and Finance Officer youll lead a team of Business and Finance Administrators helping them thrive while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

On a typical day you might:

  • Supervise and support locality-based staff across several sites
  • Provide expert advice on financial and business processes
  • Champion change and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Area Business Manager to implement new ways of working
  • Ensure compliance with Suffolk County Councils financial procedures

You will need

We hope youll bring:

  • Experience in financial and budgeting tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and process management skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Line management experience (desirable) or equivalent knowledge
  • A proactive supportive approach to team leadership
