Job Description
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for aFull-Time Time Generalist Teacher for Breaking Point Colony School.This position is to commence on August 27 2025. The initial teaching assignment will include teaching in a multi-grade level classroom setting.
T his position will remain open until suitable candidate is secured. The Peace River School Division thanks you for your interest in working with our division - only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
Qualifications:
- Training and/or experience working in multi-grade classrooms would be an asset
- Understanding of rural communities.
- Ability to use a wide variety of instructional methods to reach all levels of learners.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of differentiation and inclusion strategies.
Requirement:
- Must hold or be eligible for a validAlberta Teaching Certificate.
- Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check dated within six (6) months of your application.

Annual Salary Range: $ 62 702 to $ 105 996(dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division) plus the additional Lead Teacher for Hutterite Colony allowance as outlined in Article 4 of the collective agreement.
