Accountable for overall program sales performance the profitable achievement of sales organization goals and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy. Essential Functions - Increase sales for the program using existing products and services.
- Explain technical characteristics of products to a general and at times very specific client audience.
- Keep accurate records of sales and interactions with existing and prospective clients through appropriate software/CRM.
- Develop strategies and execute effective plans based on sales requirements and strategies.
- Mentor and assist in the growth and development of sales staff including but is not limited to daily sales and personal development training and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Be constantly aware of sales goals and performance for the organization.
- Recognize and forecast trends and opportunities in the market.
- Interface with other directors and managers to help support sales and operational objectives.
- Interface support influence marketing campaigns where applicable.
- Demonstrate a passion for the companys mission vision and values.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Responsible for regular interval department reports to supervisor.
Basic Qualifications - Minimum 3 years proven sales experience with a technical understanding of the P&C and/ or real estate industry.
- A bachelors degree preferred or commensurate experience preferred
- P&C license required.
- Industry and sales certifications may be beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication the ability to communicate effectively conduct meetings and deliver formal presentations.
- Ability to work independently organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines utilize a wide degree of creativity and latitude to accomplish goals understand business implications of decisions and complete multiple tasks/ projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Suite
