Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Compensation assignments/projects. Experienced Compensation professional responsible for developing implementing and administering compensation programs. Communicates trains and provides guidance and tools to HR to help support business in administration and implementation of the annual compensation review process to achieve compensation objectives. Serves as market expert regarding specific market compensation issues. Exercises considerable creativity foresight and judgment in conceiving planning and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Compensation but works on broader projects which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
This role requires the ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders both internal and external across a complex and dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Drive the market pricing process and the integrity of Market Pay for the enterprise.
Participate in compensation surveys.
Assess survey results and load updated results into MarketPay annually.
Develop and review salary structures and market ranges market and employee data analysis and modeling. Benchmark compensation practices.
Interpret market compensation data and perform analysis to ensure competitive positioning within the market making recommendations as required.
Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation related data.
Responsible for compliance related activities and reporting (SCA Union FLSA etc.).
Lead monthly quarterly and annual compensation data audits.
Keeping abreast of any changes to reward related regulatory requirements conducting impact analysis and developing recommendations to ensure compliance.
Develop and maintain compensation policies in ServiceNow.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree required
5 years Compensation or other relevant experience with background in market pricing preferred within a global or Fortune 500 organization.
Must be detail oriented with strong solution driven analytical skills to summarize and analyze big data sets.
In-depth experience of job analysis and pricing including survey participation analysis and job levelling preferred.
Strong customer focus and ability to effectively liaise with colleagues in multiple locations.
Agile thinking and adaptable to manage multi-project activities and demanding timescales.
Exposure to emerging market environments with varying approaches to compensation program design.
Strong project management.
Proficient IT skills including advanced Excel knowledge and experience of HRIS integration and reporting. Workday experience preferred.
