Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to assist a male client in the Niagara Region. This is a contract position offering 20 hours per week focused on enhancing the clients comfort safety and well-being in their home environment.
Job Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Location: Niagara Region Ontario
Hours: 20 hours/week (4 visits per week 5 hours per visit)
Start Date: ASAP
Agency: HealthOPM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance (e.g. bathing grooming dressing)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Promote a safe and supportive home environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Valid drivers license is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable trustworthy and respectful of client privacy and needs
