JOB SUMMARY:
Provides the technical skills needed to support the daily operation of the assigned entertainment venue and/or event including the operation and execution of entertainment shows.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily operation of the technical elements within the assigned entertainment venue and/or event.
- Responsible for completing pre and post show presets resets and checklists of assigned technical equipment elements.
- Assist with the appropriate maintenance of venue and equipment as assigned for proper operation organization and cleanliness.
- Assisting in maintaining shows or event specific inventory of all technical equipment and supplies.
- Accountable to strictly adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by the Entertainment Department governing the safe operation of all technical equipment
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree is required.
- Technical school is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years: One to three years experience within the professional theme park/theater industry in a technical capacity preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
