You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal vet to join a well-established independent practice located in Waterford. This is a permanent full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance and a friendly supportive team environment.
The role is based on a 35-hour working week with a manageable rota that includes:
3:1 in-house patients rota
12:1 OOH weekend rota
1 OOH night midweek
Early finishes: two days finishing at 4pm two days at 6pm
Fridays: two out of three finish at 1pm the third at 4pm
Saturdays: one in three 3-hour clinic from 10am1pm
This rota is designed to ensure that vets enjoy two full weekends off out of every three with early Friday finishes leading into uninterrupted weekends returning Monday at 9am.
Out-of-hours duties are light typically involving only one or two calls per shift. Strong support is always available from the practice manager and a highly experienced senior vet with over 30 years in the profession.
The caseload is varied and engaging ensuring no two days are the same. The successful candidate must be confident in routine surgeries including cat neuters spays dog neuters and lumpectomies and should have a minimum of one years experience in both clinical diagnostics and the surgical procedures mentioned.
