Bank Medical Secretary
Rowley Hall Hospital
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Medical secretarial department here at Rowley Hall Hospital for a bank Medical Secretary. We are a busy and friendly team looking for an experienced secretary with sound computer audio typing and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in a team based secretarial service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service.
Act as the first point of contact for on behalf of the consultants and deal effectively with all queries from GPs patients and other departments.
Manage clinical dictations on a digital system as required.
Prioritise your own workload to meet the demands of the service.
You will benefit from a varied surgical caseload which will broaden your skills and experience as well as support and training opportunities.
The successful candidate will also have the following:
Previous secretarial/administration experience
Previous audio typing experience must be able to type 20 letters per day
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Ability to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines
Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Previous medical secretarial experience and knowledge of medical terminology

What is a Bank contract:

Rowley Hall Hospital is one of Staffordshires leading private hospitals located in a Georgian listed building in five acres of Rowley Park only five minutes from the centre of Stafford. The hospital opened in 1987 and currently has 13 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities.
