Discover Impactful Work:

• Supervision of contractors FSE and service providers using TRACTION system to welcome guests and chaperoning them during their tenure.
• Planning of personal work requirements using sprint planning / SCRUM methodology
• Completes documentation to GDP standards.
• Responsible for supporting and aligning with the Companys safety and hazardous waste management program including safe hazardous waste handling and good housekeeping
• Assisting with PRs (Problem Reports) and CAPA (corrective action / preventative actions) investigations when problems arise.

A day in the Life:

• Working in ISO 5 & ISO 7 clean rooms wearing personal respirator hood PPE to carry out daily tasks
• Responsible for PMs calibrations and services on key equipment agreed by Engineering manager based on competency and proficiency.
• Adopting a minimise downtime increase availability methodology
• Understanding and safe use in workshop tools (hand tools / automatic tools) once assessed by EHS specialist and Engineering Manager.
• Understanding and use of CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
• Routine maintenance of associated laboratory manufacturing and workshop equipment agreed by Engineering manager based on competency and proficiency.
• Maintenance of the clean room environment including clean transfer of tools and any other work associated materials into the clean-room.
• Continuous improvement in understanding of quality and efficiency concepts as they apply to all work performed services offered communications and products.
• Understanding crafting and following risk assessment
• Understanding supporting and filling out of Permits to work
• Supporting changeovers on equipment in ultra clean area wearing required safety PPE / Respirator
• Supporting team in preparation and during audits
• Understanding creating and participating in equipment validation
• Leading PPI methodology at individual and team level
• Demonstrates operational discipline individually and as a team
• Demonstrating agile leadership individually and as a team
• Supports responsible for and participates in site projects using engineering bias to FIND A BETTER WAY
• Mentor and coaching ability supporting apprenticeship program
• Ability to review data / metrics to establish trends that can be understood and translated into actions

Keys to Success:

Education

• Engineering modern apprenticeship / time served ( & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3).
• Minimum HNC qualification in engineering
• Ideally HND qualified in an engineering capacity
• 7 years proven experience post HNC
• Multi skilled (Elec/Mech)
• Engineering career goal
• Experience of implementing change process improvement and reducing costs.

• Able to manage workload independently within scope of activities agreed with Supervisor
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well alone and as a team.
• Ability to adopt SCRUM methodology and utilise as a planning/scheduling tool
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work to instructions with strict attention to deadlines and details.
• Excellent time management & organizational skills
• Strong communication and experience of problem-solving skills

• The employment will involve some manual handling however training will be provided in safe use.
