Job Description
Were hiring on behalf of a reputable family-owned Mechanical Contractor based in Brookfield CT. This growing company serves local commercial clients and is known for its high-quality work and strong family-oriented culture.
As an HVAC Service Technician youll play a key role in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems with a focus on preventative maintenance troubleshooting and occasional installations. Youll be expected to perform these tasks in a safe efficient and professional manner. Below you will find more information about the job duties and requirements.
What we offer
- Up to $45/hour plus overtime depending on experience. If your target pay is higher we still encourage you to applywe can request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week with occasional OT
- No on-call duties and no overnight travel

What youll do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial split and package units
- Work primarily at school sites manufacturing facilities and R & D Facilities
- Assist with installations and equipment startups
- Diagnose and service a variety of systems including Trane Carrier AAON and Daikin units
- Inspect clean and repair/replace belts pulleys and motors
- Troubleshoot VFDs and basic control systems
Requirements
- 4 years of commercial HVAC experience
- Hold a valid S2 or D2 license
- EPA Certification required
- Skilled in diagnosing repairing and maintaining various HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of controls VFDs and sheet metal applications
- Excellent communication and diagnostic abilities
