Job Description
THE POSITION
Susquehanna County Children & Youth Services is looking for an outgoing individual to serve as the lead fiscal staff in the agency. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This is professional fiscal and administrative work supervising and administering the financial operations for Susquehanna County Children and Youth. You will be expected to prepare the agencys state and county budgets for Children and Youth maintain and update fiscal records according to generally accepted accounting principles and oversee the completion of expenditure reports and prepare invoices. Responsibilities include assisting with preparations for and participating in required audits managing the day to day operations of the Children and Youth fiscal unit and supervising fiscal and clerical staff. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
- Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelors degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associates degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police clearance PA Child Abuse history clearance and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
