Job Description

Ultra CEMS is looking for a Goods Inwards / Despatch Inspector. In role of the Goods Inwards Operator you will be managing the receipt of all incoming goods via our MPS system assisting in Despatch & Stores as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring materials are receipted and available for storage and kitting for production in an orderly and timely way.
  • Receive and sign for delivered goods process accordingly
  • Verify and accept procured product in line with purchase orders and quality management system
  • Checking and validating supplier delivery paperwork and certificates of conformance
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with the delivered article
  • Control defect items via segregation from good product. Raise and issue relevant query forms
  • Controlling traceability and shelf-life issues for key materials.
  • Interacting with stores operators Supply Chain Planning Quality and production staff on daily needs and issues.
  • Working to team KPIs to control processes and key materials.
  • General Picking and packing duties in line with Despatch cover
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment
  • Drive the forklift to move / unload
  • Drive other company vehicles when needed

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must be able to demonstrate the capability of working in a pressurised deadline driven environment
  • Good communication skills verbal and written are required.
  • Computer literacy with confidence in the use of standard computer packages will need to be demonstrated
  • Fork Lift licence desirable
  • Drivers licence
  • Flexible approach to tasks
