Job Description
The Tarian team part of Amazons BuilderWorks organization aids Amazon service teams in creating managing and executing workflows for control plane processes. Our services help teams define and run all types of control processes aimed at both technical and non-technical operators. Engineers leverage our tools for both rapid experimentation and structured change management.
We are leaning into Generative AI with our team defining how Model Context Protocol servers will serve as the control plane interface of the future.
We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer (SDE2) to join the team. As an SDE2 you will contribute to the design development testing and operations of services within the Tarian charter.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
