JOB SUMMARY

Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President for Business and Finance. Support the operational and administrative functions of the Business and Finance Department as well as other departments under the CFOs oversight. As needed assist with administrative responsibilities within the Office of the President. Act as a liaison between the Offices of the President and the CFO facilitating effective communication and collaboration with departments across Southern Nazarene University (SNU). Represent the university in interactions with guests and external constituencies ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions for Assisting the President and CFO:

  • Collect and process travel and business receipts.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of the areas of assignment
  • Oversee requisition processes of the areas of assignment
  • Serve as Universitys first impression ambassador welcoming guests receiving calls coordinating contacts and visits from various clients and constituents.
  • Interact with Trustees SCF (South Central Field) Churches District Superintendents Pastors and Community leaders on behalf of the University as directed; arrange meetings travel and accommodations; follow-up reporting and coordination.
  • Arrange campus meetings as needed.
  • Organize file and maintain accurate budget and correspondence records.
  • Order and maintain office supplies as needed
  • Provide organizational and time management support
  • Provide correspondence support.
  • Aid in completion of projects as needed.
  • Connect and communicate with various civic and corporate entities as requested by the President and/or the CFO and other University leaders.
  • Work with the Presidents Office CFO and other University leaders to organize promote and execute various projects or events.

Supervision Received:

Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.

Supervision Exercised:

May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.
