Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Security Guard is to ensure the safety of the guests associates and property.

Work Performed:

TheSecurity Guardwill be tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:

  • Ensure the safety of guests associates and hotel propertyalways;

  • Perform security patrols throughout all areas of the hotel andgrounds;

  • Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining acourteous tactful and helpfuldemeanor;

  • Respond immediately to emergency incidents and security requests(and escalates per protocol as appropriate);

  • Create reports on all activities during eachshift;

  • Draft incidentreports;

  • Monitor associates entering and leaving thehotel;

  • Collect packagesreceived by propertyand inspects parcels taken from theproperty;

  • Monitor the back entrance and receivingdock;

  • Checks all personnel entering and provides information and direction upon proper identification of all job applicants salesmenetc.;

  • De-escalate situations between associates and/orguests;

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures includingreportingaccidentsinjuriesand unsafe work conditions to managementand

  • Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

Preferred Prior Experience:

2 Years Loss Prevention experience

Preferred Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Licenses/ Certification:

Certified in CPR and First Aid or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Physical:

Completemobility;it may be necessary to carry people or emergency equipment

Ability to lift pull and push up to 50 poundson occasion

Ability to bend and squat repeatedly

Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift

Other:

Flexible to working days early mornings eveningsnightsweekendsand holidays.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
