Job Description

REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: Atlanta GA

HYBRID

Our client a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm is seeking a talented mid-level Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Real Estate Practice Group in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated real estate attorney to engage in complex high-value transactional work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.

  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia in good standing.

  • 45 years of substantive experience in real estate transactional work.

  • Transactional Experience: Demonstrated background in acquisitions dispositions financing leasing and development of commercial real estate assets.

  • Experience handling real estate debt and/or equity transactions is strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage and execute multiple complex transactions with precision and efficiency.

  • Thrives in a collaborative team setting while also showing initiative and independence.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent legal writing negotiation analytical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sophisticated real estate deals including acquisitions sales development projects and leasing agreements.

  • Work closely with institutional investors developers lenders and corporate clients to structure and negotiate deals.

  • Advise clients on real estate finance and capital structuring including joint ventures mezzanine financing and equity investment arrangements.

  • Collaborate with attorneys in tax corporate and finance groups to support complex deal structures.

  • Oversee title and survey review zoning analysis and the preparation of purchase and sale agreements loan documents and closing materials.
