Experienced Pastry Professional Needed for Hewn Bakery
Hewn a woman-owned and operated artisan bakery in Evanston is seeking an experienced Pastry Professional.
If you have a passion for laminated doughs brioche and working with local ingredients we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Work independently and as part of a team to produce high-quality consistent artisan breads and pastries.
Report directly to the Head Pastry Chef.
Willingness to work early morning evening and weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
Minimum one year of professional experience with laminated doughs and brioche.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
ServSafe certification required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
