Frontend Engineer, Ring Ecomm

At Ring were seeking a frontend engineer to join our E-commerce team in delivering customer-obsessed solutions through . Youll work with a team of engineers building and maintaining our e-commerce platform using and TypeScript.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end technologies
- Experience with full-stack web development and RESTful APIs
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development
- Design and implement web components and features for
- Build and optimize front-end solutions with a focus on performance and user experience
- Contribute to middleware and API development
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews

Quality & Delivery
- Write clean maintainable code with appropriate test coverage
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes
- Help maintain high standards for code quality and documentation

Team Collaboration
- Work effectively within an agile team to define design and ship new features
- Partner with product managers and designers to implement technical solutions
- Contribute to technical discussions and help identify optimal solutions
- Support team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of web security best practices
- Familiarity with AWS services
- Understanding of CI/CD practices

- 2 years of non-internship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
- 1 years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience with object-oriented design
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

- 1 years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JS TypeScript and Node

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
