This Criminal Justice Technician 1/2 Flex position is one of two positions that support the Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) Anchorage Airport Interdiction Team (AAIT).
This position directly supports investigators within the AAIT in the areas of research criminal intelligence parcel interdiction and case development and management. Duties will vary widely from tracking assets seized by the Unit assisting investigators with case development researching information pertaining to criminal history checks as well as administrative tasks such as payroll travel coordinating and compiling statistical reports.THE BENEFITS OF JOINING OUR TEAM:

Criminal Justice Technician 1 Minimum Qualifications (Range 12)
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in:
Successful completion of training under a formally established Criminal Justice Technician 1-2 flexible staffing training plan with the State of Alaska;

This position requires the incumbent to submit to a fingerprint based criminal history background check. Due to the sensitive nature of this position and required access to APSIN an applicant with criminal convictions will not move forward in the selection process.
