Develop and deliver training on FOIA and Privacy Act processes and policy to government staff and contractor personnel.
Manage task assignments ensure proper case coverage and monitor team productivity and morale.
Oversee the quality assurance of all deliverablesincluding case responses redaction recommendations and interagency communications assuring they meet government standards prior to submission.
Serve as the on-site contractor Team Lead coordinating coverage backups and daily operations.
Support cross-agency coordination equity reviews and interagency issuances related to FOIA and PA.
Analyze FOIA requests to assess the adequacy of the responses from searches and provide recommendations to government staff.
Conduct interagency coordination on records searches and the review of responsive documents.
Collaborate with government leads on workflow improvements training content and SOP documentation.
Contribute to high-level deliverables for government staff.
Current TS/SCI with poly-level clearance.
12 years of direct experience supporting government information/data management FOIA Privacy Act or Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) programs.
Demonstrated expertise in reviewing and redacting classified and sensitive materials under Executive Order (EO) 13526 and related statutory exemptions.
Proven leadership experience with a track record of mentoring developing and retaining technical staff.
Experience handling litigation and appeals under FOIA or Privacy Act including coordination with legal or IC stakeholders.
Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to produce peer-reviewed error-free documents.
Comfortable operating in a secure high-tempo and interagency environment.
Requirements
Prior experience supporting IC component agencies.
Background in government legal support information management or federal records policy.
Experience in developing or delivering FOIA or Privacy Act related training.
