Job Description
The Surfsand Resort and Wayfarer Restaurant are seeking a part-time Banquet Captain to join our growing Food & Beverage team!
As Banquet Captain you will be responsible for supervising banquet staff and ensuring smooth coordination of all food and beverage services for banquet functions. Were looking for a team-oriented leader with excellent communication and organizational skills to help deliver exceptional guest experiences. This part-time position pays $21 hour. Controls labor costs including payroll tip distribution beverage control preparation and signing of banquet checks
Conducts accurate equipment inventories
Trains the banquet team and oversees the enforcement of hotel standards on setting up the banquet facilities up keeping services break away event courses and cleaning
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- Two years related banquet/catering experience
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Knowledge of health department standards of food sanitation and safety practices
- Oregon Food Handler Certification and OLCC license
