We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Analyst with at least 6 years of experience including direct experience supporting government data systems. This role is responsible for protecting sensitive government data across complex hybrid cloud and legacy environments. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of security controls access policies and risk mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with government security standards.
This role is remote-friendly with on-site presence required in Washington D.C. as needed for customer meetings audits and secure environment work.
Implement and monitor security controls across cloud and on-premise environments including AWS RDS Redshift Databricks MongoDB and DynamoDB.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal information security standards (e.g. FISMA FedRAMP NIST 800-53).
Manage access policies and data protection protocols using Immuta and Informatica EDC/Axon.
Support secure design and governance for ETL workflows and data integration pipelines (e.g. Databricks ETL Informatica EFTU).
Conduct security assessments risk analyses and vulnerability scans across databases applications and network components.
Define and enforce user access controls and data classification policies in collaboration with data governance teams.
Collaborate with cloud architects DevSecOps and compliance stakeholders to secure environments and support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and coordinate with incident response teams to resolve and document findings.
Maintain security documentation SSPs POA&Ms and audit evidence for internal and external audits.

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Systems Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Information Security including work on government projects preferably with the IRS.
Strong understanding of cloud security data protection identity and access management and governance tools.
Experience with security compliance frameworks such as NIST FISMA or FedRAMP.
Hands-on experience with Immuta Informatica EDC/Axon or similar access governance tools.
Strong knowledge of data flow across ETL pipelines and hybrid infrastructure.
Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISA CISM AWS Security Specialty).
Familiarity with securing AI/ML platforms and analytic tools (e.g. AAP Tableau).
Experience in preparing for and supporting ATO or other federal security authorization processes.
Exposure to legacy system security involving COBOL DB2 or mainframe operations.
Primarily remote with periodic on-site collaboration required.
