Part-Time. Entertainment Supervisor Production and Operations
What you get to do:
The Part-Time Supervisor of Production and Operations will assist in coordinating and supporting the Entertainment (Show) departments production and operational efforts. This role works closely with internal teams including Stage Managers Cast Crew and Theatrical Scenic Production to ensure rehearsals show operations and venue safety protocols are executed efficiently and professionally.
Collaborate with the BGW Entertainment team to support pre-production planning rehearsal scheduling and operational timelines.
Assist in scheduling rehearsal periods for cast and crew including coordinating swing coverage for Stage Managers.
Serve as a swing Stage Manager for production shows when no other swing is available.
Take over swing schedules and understand the importance of specific performer/tech days off which would potentially effect show operations.
Support the oversight and maintenance of Show Production Books ensuring Stage Managers complete documentation in coordination with the Theatrical Scenic Production Supervisor.
Participate in the 800 Duty Program acting as the Entertainment point of contact during select operational shifts.
Maintain a safe work environment and assist in creating updating and enforcing venue-specific safety SOPs.
Uphold ambassador confidentiality and handle leadership matters with professionalism and discretion.
Lead or assist in department training sessions for Show Stage Managers alongside the Theatrical Scenic Production Supervisor.
Communicate clearly and confidently in front of groups both in rehearsal and operational settings.
Complete assigned projects in a timely and professional manner.
Engage in extensive walking and standing throughout the work shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
A High School diploma or equivalent. College degree in theater or equivalent experience is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum one (1) year professional entertainment or theme park experience preferred.
Minimum one (1) year theatrical stage management and/or production experience in media which may include theater television radio motion pictures dance recording studio or visual arts.
Special Event/Stage Manager/Project Management experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work well with others with strong organizational & time management skills.
Proven leadership skills
Strong computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Office: Word PowerPoint and Excel.
Able to be a team player and positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language and individuals with additional needs.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of the English language .
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme weather conditions. *Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which includes weekdays weekends evenings and holidays.
Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service
Comfortable climbing onto platforms and catwalks to perform venue inspections/maintenance checks.
Consistently practices safe work habits including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
Willingness to comply with and ensure ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Ability to successfully complete all legal company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
