We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and forward-thinking data science team which is helping to shape the future of insurance through innovative analytics. As the industry evolves with rapid technological change Aviva is investing in machine learning and data science as a key capability. Our team is recognised as a centre of excellence within our Global Data Science Departmentdelivering insights that drive smarter decisions across the Aviva Group.
This role has a strong research and development focus. Youll explore creative ways to use our rich data assets and the latest machine learning techniques to enhance predictive modelling in Insurance Pricing. Youll also work closely with a wide range of internal and external partners helping to align priorities and maximise the value of our insights.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Strong numerical and analytical thinking with a creative approach to problem solving.
Self-motivated and organised with a passion for continuous learning.
Great communication and collaboration skills including the ability to explain complex ideas to different audiences.
A degree MSc PhD or equivalent experience in a numerate or scientific subject (or a different path thats given you similar skills).
Experience working with datathis could include statistical modelling or programming in Python SQL R C or similar.

Starting salary between 40000-50000 (London) 30000-40000 (National)
