Anticipates and carries out actions necessary to provide competent and professional quality data collection and reporting to meet the needs of physicians administrators co-workers and others. Provides support for committees and assumes responsibility for delegated administrative tasks. Works independently and initiates judgment in handling questions requests for information for studies and departmental projects external organizations regarding data collection and analysis and works to assure accurate and complete data is collected. Has strong communication and problem-solving skills attention to detail.
This position requires Associates degree or other healthcare related degree or specialty practice certification such as (i.e. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Respiratory Therapist etc.) with a strong emphasis on anatomy physiology and medical terminology. Two years registry data abstraction experience or 3 years relevant clinical experience in cardiology. Must have experience with computer/data entry keyboarding applications and be proficient in the use of excel access and exhibit good human relations skills including the ability to work collaboratively and professionally to build rapport with others at all levels of responsibility is needed. Applicant must be adaptable/flexible in a changing work environment that requires upgrading of skills. Demonstrate ability to function independently.
Full-Time
