General Manager Automotive Manufacturing
Location: Georgetown TX (Austin Area)
About the Role
An industry-leading automotive manufacturer is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee operations at its 200000 sq ft facility leading a team of 400 employees. The ideal candidate will drive productivity quality and safety ensuring the plant meets operational goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all manufacturing operations
- Manage a large-scale workforce including 8 direct reports
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer certifications
- Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
- Maintain a safe and structured manufacturing environment adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
Qualifications
Degree in Business Engineering or equivalent
10 years of experience in manufacturing or supervisory roles
Strong background in plastic injection molding/manufacturing preferred
Ability to lead and develop a large team
Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment
