Job Description

This is a remote position.

Remote (U.S.-based) Full-Time Mid-Senior Level

A global leader in pet health and diagnostics is hiring a Workday HRIS Specialist to support their Compensation and Absence modules. This is a fully remote role within the U.S. supporting a globally distributed HR Technology team.

You ll play a key role in the configuration optimization and support of Workday Compensation and Absence processes collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence IT and global stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Core and Advanced Compensation as well as Absence business processes in Workday

  • Manage annual merit cycles compensation rules eligibility criteria and related reporting

  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshoot Workday Compensation and Absence issues

  • Lead or contribute to compensation and absence-related projects

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and implement system solutions

  • Monitor Workday releases and incorporate relevant updates

  • Assist in developing and maintaining related policies and procedures within the system

  • Create reports dashboards and manage EIBs as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience configuring Workday Compensation and Absence

  • Strong proficiency with Workday tools such as Report Writer Business Process Framework Calculated Fields and EIBs

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Effective communicator comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

  • Ability to lead discussions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced project-driven environment


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting global HR operations

  • Familiarity with other Workday modules or enterprise HRIS systems

  • Understanding of system architecture and integrations

Job Requirements: Candidates with 1-3 years of experience levels. Junior to seasoned professionals Bachelor s or Master s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control. Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners. Hands-on experience with incident response, risk assessment, and forensic analysis is a plus. Good knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.). Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, a must! Nice to have: Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or OSCP.

Education

Bachelors / Masters is preferred or the equivalent experience.
