About the Role

As our Lead Rebar Fabricator you ll partner with the Branch Shop Manager to ensure safe efficient production and impeccable quality driving complex reinforcement work from shop floor to shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety & Culture: Champion and uphold all safety programs housekeeping standards and core company values on every shift.
- Team Supervision: Oversee shop staff and operations on assigned shift(s) ensuring optimal resource utilization and adherence to production targets.
- Process Management: Coordinate daily work assignments running shears benders cranes car pullers forklifts and other equipment to meet quality and quantity standards.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Quickly diagnose and resolve production issues; oversee routine maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize safety.
- Quality Control: Conduct rigorous inspections of fabricated material verifying correct dimensions tagging and readiness for customer delivery.
- Employee Development: Assist in performance evaluations; mentor junior fabricators on best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records in the shop s management system and perform other duties as directed by production leadership.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- High school diploma GED or equivalent.
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Minimum five years hands-on experience in a rebar shop or related manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication supervisory planning and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of labor regulations and industrial safety standards.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or occasionally travel as project demands dictate.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
