Job Description
Are you passionate about data analytics and investment risk Join our Data Operations Analytics team at Legal & General Asset Management where were building a central analytics hub to support the firms strategic goals. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data technology and investment insighthelping to shape the future of risk analytics across the business. Youll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and gain exposure to cutting-edge tools and methodologies in a dynamic supportive environment.
What youll be doing:
- Collaborating with investment teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality risk analytics
- Reviewing and enhancing risk data sets in partnership with the Data Management Office
- Analysing client and portfolio-level performance and risk data
- Working with business users vendors and internal IT and Data Teams to evolve the risk analytics product and production framework
- Supporting the evolution of risk analytics tools and production frameworks
- Analysing and testing market risk analytics/reports for the universe of funds.
- Assisting in the implementation of a new risk platform
- Supporting vendor management processes and cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Experience in an analytical quantitative or investment risk role
- Strong understanding of risk concepts such as value at risk volatility and scenario analysis
- Working knowledge in SQL Python and APIs
- Experience of working with 3rd party risk engines is advantageous (Axioma Risk Bloomberg Port or other)
- Familiarity with State Street products is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
- Ability to understand and challenge existing methodologies
