Utilizing SolidWorks to revise current drawings and to develop detailed manufacturing drawings to specifications for parts sold by Greener.
Create complete and accurate 2D drawings from 3D models including dimensions and tolerances to meet Greener manufacturing standards.
Modify current 3D part models for new designs and update 2D drawings.
Reverse engineer measure sample parts to create accurate 3D models and generate complete and accurate 2D drawings with dimensions and tolerances that meet Greener manufacturing standards.
Interact and coordinate with engineering personnel to ensure the proper design of parts and lead times to complete projects.
Ensure drawings are accurate and compliant with Greener manufacturing standards before releasing to manufacturing.
Revise update or complete part number item card information in Greeners computer database.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; a minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing or engineering field required.
A background in manual machining CNC machining or programming is a plus.
A basic knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software is preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical drawing practices is required.
Working knowledge of part design machining and assembly processes required.
Basic knowledge of the use of standard measuring tools such as scales micrometers calipers etc.
A basic knowledge of inspecting and checking machined parts is required.
Solid written and verbal communication skills required.
Analytical and organizational skills required.
The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in the use of software programs including Microsoft Outlook Word & Excel is required.
