Job Description

Baths R Us a leader in the remodeling industry is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in recruiting and hiring along with a passion for fostering positive employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the existing HR team to manage and ensure the full-cycle recruiting process including sourcing interviewing and onboarding new employees.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent in the remodeling field.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations inquiries providing guidance and support to staff.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Work with management to identify staffing needs and develop solutions to meet organizational goals.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate documentation of employee hours and compensation.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and provide guidance on available options.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accurate documentation of HR activities.
  • Support the HR team in various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role with a focus on recruitment employee relations payroll and benefits management.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee issues with discretion.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and benefits administration is a plus.
