Job Summary
The Podcast Assistant will coordinate logistics to produce The Table Podcast.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Schedule podcast recordings
- Work closely with other DTS departments for podcast scheduling production and approval
- Research potential guests
- Coordinate with podcast guests and hosts
- Create episode metadata (transcript time codes etc.)
- Utilize a variety of programs and ensure quality release across multiple platforms (audio and video)
- Maintain an organized system of data collection
- Track and researchpodcast analytics to maintain awareness of the show and genre
- Promote podcast
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality
- Ability to prioritize tasks and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with external contacts as well as internal team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Asanaand general computer skills
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new programs/systems
- Work well in a team environment and take direction
- Ability to take initiative and work independently; self-starter
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some seminary education helpful
- Some related experience helpful
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
