Job Description Summary
The Alumni Affairs & Career Center Coordinator supports the Career Center with maintaining current alumni affairs initiatives and provides coordination on relevant administrative tasks and projects that contribute to the overall mission of the Career Center office. These duties include but are not limited to project management support research and data gathering coordinating outreach as delegated by the team and assistance on other operational needs that aid the Career Center.

Responsibilities
Alumni Affairs Support As assigned serve as a liaison with key alumni contacts to coordinate introductory meetings (in-person lunches intro meetings via Zoom etc.). Assist with the outreach planning and coordination of Alumni Mixers each semester Generate ideas and coordinate logistics for future alumni gatherings alongside Career Center staff. Support the Career Advisor & Alumni Relations with planning and operational logistics related to the Dodge Next Gen alumni mentorship program(s) and Alumni Drop By series Coordinate semesterly maintenance of the Dodge Alumni Database ensuring that contact information employment details and other relevant data are accurate and up-to-date Assist in collection and tracking of relevant alumni news and updates sharing relevant information with Dodge Communications team for monthly newsletter Execute manual crosscheck of alumni names credits nominations and festival participation providing the information to Communications team to disseminate on relevant social media channels. Track alumni engagement efforts through metrics such as event attendance participation rates and alumni feedback communicating findings to the team in order to continually evolve and improve department activities Aid with the development and coordination of a future Alumni Council Career Center Support In an effort to cultivate opportunities and further alumni relationships engage in outreach at the start of each semester to alumni partners to inquire about upcoming internships and jobs posting on internal job board as listings arise. Support with identifying alumni located at key companies and update relevant information in Employer Database. Support career development inquires that arise from alumni connecting them with resources for all stages of career Connect with faculty in relevant departments to identify key alumni contacts for strategic outreach as it relates to career initiatives Provide support with the collection and tracking of relevant data on post-grad career outcomes Provide stellar customer service to all incoming guests of the Career Center both virtually and in-person. Office Administrative Support Provide all core administrative functions as it relates to supporting the Career Centers initiatives Ensure regular and consistent communication with our alumni by collaborating with Dodges Communications team on regular outreach such as newsletters and email updates Career Center LinkedIn page and other social platforms that may be relevant to Dodge alumni. Collaborate with other departments within Chapman University such as University Advancement Strategic Marketing and Communications and Alumni Engagement & Parent Volunteerism to integrate alumni engagement initiatives into broader institutional goals and campaigns. In an effort to maintain career programing offerings to alumni community support the team with coordination of all career-related events Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree with progressive experience in performing related functions preferably in academia. Minimum two years of professional experience or a combination of practical training and education. Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with diverse constituents at all levels both internally and externally. Excellent written & oral communications skills with outstanding attention to detail. Proven ability to handle simultaneous deadlines communicate effectively and maintain a positive composure. Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to plan coordinate and execute logistics for special events. Ability to connect people with one another and most importantly to the College. Ability to adjust priorities and adapt to an environment with changing needs. Ability to take initiative and provide solutions to problems. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member while being able to work independently as an integral member of a high-functioning team.
