Hedleys Horizons provides adults with disabilities day opportunities and activities that promote the ethos of lifelong learning and the importance of wellbeing in adult life. Currently operating within Killingworth and Forest Hall we are due to open a new day service facility in North Shields. This new venture will allow us to expand our focus on individualised support creating an environment where everyone can flourish according to their unique needs and interests.
Hedleys Horizons is a busy vibrantand varied environment that supports disabled adults with cerebral palsy communication and sensory impairments and complex learning needs including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions. We offer a choice of activities that meet peoples aspirations needs and preferences thus offering a very individual programme with support from a highly skilled and dedicated staff team.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a Site co-ordinator to be based in our new service Hedleys Horizons North Shields. This is a new post to support the Management team in the day to day running of the site. The successful candidate will work closely with staff within Horizons and the Estates & Facilities department.
Horizons is a busy vibrant and varied environment. We are looking to appoint an individual who has demonstrable evidence of problem solving and resolving issues as they arise. The successful candidate will adaptable to meet the changing needs of the service and have worked in a similar role.
Service opening hours:
Mondays 8.45am - 4.15pm
Tuesdays 8.45am - 4.00pm
Wednesdays 8.45am - 4.00pm (6.00pm once every 4 weeks)
Thursdays 8.45am- 4.00pm
Fridays 8.45am - 4.00pm
