The Day Care Monitor will take care of the needs of children placed in the day care facility while providing a safe and supervised environment.
Essential Duties:
- Maintains a safe environment for children placed in day care.
- Ensures that established rules of the day care center are enforced and adhered to.
- Maintains an attractive orderly appearance in the day care center.
- Assists with the facilitation of entertaining and educational activities for the children.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks hears stands and walks climbs or balances; stoops and kneels. Occasionally sits crouches or crawls; tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 45 pounds.
Certificates/Licenses:
- CPR and First Aid Certification. Applicable State or County Health Card and Sheriffs Card.
