Your Work Environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of the Oil Gas and Chemical team based in the Brampton ON office and can be responsible for delivering the instrumentation system design fabrication installation and maintenance for projects in the oil and gas industry. The role requires expertise in instrumentation design instrument material selection fabrication and installation procedures. The Instrumentation Designer must ensure that all instrument systems comply with industry standards and project specifications and that they are installed and maintained safely and efficiently.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Provide design for electrical equipment and systems and prepare electrical deliverables in compliance with applicable North American codes and standards.
- Review multidiscipline drawings layouts and documents and prepare electrical deliverables based on the project requirements.
- Revise electrical engineering drawings and documents to comply with clients project requirements specifications and comments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Electrical requirements.
What your experience looks like
- Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering designer experience for Chemical plants.
- Hands-on experience with 3D SP modeling of electrical cable trays etc.
- Extensive experience in the design of lighting grounding power and control layouts.
- Experience in electrical MTO estimations.
- Expert/working skills with AutoCAD.
