Job Description
A System Engineer is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure efficiency reliability and security. The role requires expertise in VMware backup solutions Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
Key Responsibilities
- VMware Management: Deploy manage monitor and optimize VMware environments.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain backup solutions develop backup policies and monitor job executions.
- Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI): Deploy and maintain HCI solutions ensuring performance and scalability.
- Microsoft Exchange: Install configure and manage Exchange servers and email security.
- Active Directory: Manage user accounts permissions and security policies.
- System Administration: Maintain Windows/Linux servers apply security updates and monitor system health.
- Networking: Configure and manage network devices VLANs firewall rules and troubleshoot network issues.
- Security: Implement security measures conduct audits and respond to incidents.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation and generate reports on system performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
- Certifications in VMware (VCP) Microsoft (MCSE) or relevant technologies.
- Strong experience in system administration virtualization backup solutions HCI Exchange and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell Bash) and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
