Overview
Were looking for a Google Analytics Contractor with deep experience in GA4 implementation migration and data analysis to support our clients through GA4 optimizations and implementations. Youll audit existing instances and integrate GA4 with media platforms tag management systems and CMS web platforms and enable stakeholders to access actionable insights across marketing and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Google Analytics 4 properties (web and app) in line with best practices and client business goals
- Translate business needs into tracking specs including data layer documentation for dev teams
- Build test and QA smart scalable tagging strategies using Google Tag Manager and other tag managers
- Troubleshoot data collection issues and tracking accuracy across GA4 GTM and connected platforms like Google Ads Meta CMS tools like WordPress and Optimizely as well as CRMs
- Support tracking of marketing pixels for personalization retargeting and attribution across channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams using Jira Service Management to track and manage tagging and analytics requests
- Maintain documentation for tagging strategy implementation logs and QA protocols
Qualifications
- 4 years hands-on experience in web analytics with strong expertise in GA4
- Proven experience auditing and implementing GA4
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (search display paid social) and attribution
- Proficiency with GTM Looker Studio ContentSquare and event-based tracking design
- Experience with tag audits
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain data layer specifications
- Experience with QA and debugging tools like Google Tag Assistant GTM Preview and DebugView
- Solid understanding of HTML/JavaScript especially in the context of DOM interaction for custom events
- Excellent communication skillscapable of advising clients documenting solutions and translating business needs into technical implementation
- Google Analytics certification(s) strongly preferred
