Job Overview
As a Senior Retail Marketing Manager you will play a central role in driving world-class storytelling and experience strategies across our entire store portfolio. The role will be responsible for building the comprehensive Marketing strategy of T-Mobiles products services and segments; define and develop messaging and storytelling strategies and marketing plans that use the retail channels to align to company priorities and deliver on commercial and brand objectives. They use this information to define and drive retail storytelling strategies test and learn methodology identify innovation needs monitor efficacy and optimize tactics over time. This position owns crafting detailed storytelling strategic plans roadmap planning briefing internal merchandising creative and marketing teams. Strategic partnership with marketing brand operations go to market and analytics is a requirement. An understanding of the evolving Retail space and the ability to articulate and positively orchestrate complex marketing plans across multiple formats and teams are critical for success. In addition this position is pivotal to ensuring execution of targeted retail marketing programs across all formats and segments are consistent and to ensure the product experience digital transformation and branded retail marketing priorities are met. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop retail marketing strategies and manage plans that deliver on campaign enterprise and brand goals and further our retail transformation
- Leverage data analytics and segmentation to find opportunities and insights and translate needs into executable retail marketing plans that improve customer experience impact performance and deliver on objectives
- Owns and authors retail storytelling/marketing plans including driving development of brand pillar stories and supporting tactics that align to the organizations goals and objectives. Demonstrated experience solving complex problems with a customer-centric approach.
- Establish effective relationships with leadership and key stakeholders across retail commercial and marketing/brand functions to align on retail and campaign priorities strategic tactical plans and orchestrate teams/resources to bring plans to market on time/on budget.
- Partners with business owners marketing strategy and internal brand creative teams on creation of world-class retail experiences that speaks to the audience and campaign objectives
- Partners with analytics and retail marketing operations teams to ensure strategic objectives and learning agenda are accurately tracked and measured to evaluate performance. Report on efficacy of strategy and tactics on a recurring basis.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills. Able to create and articulate impactful detailed retail marketing briefs that outline the vision and expected outcomes. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
- May lead/mentor other managers and influence cross-functional teams.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelors Degree Business or Marketing (Required)
- 4-7 years In Marketing Retail Merchandising Product Management or related field (Required)
- 2-4 years of experience Delivering omni/multi-channel integrated campaigns at scale and using data and digital in execution. (Preferred)
- 2-4 years In a technology focused marketing merchandising or product development space preferred. Required
- Exceptional experience applying consumer insights to improve campaign strategy targeting delivery performance etc.
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex detailed strategies and translate insights into approach. Ability to communicate with leaders to drive specific outcomes.
- Ability to manage cross-functional workstreams and build relationships across Retail Marketing and other enterprise teams.
- Proactive in anticipating and preempting potential problems.
- Demonstrated operational performance management capabilities.

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
