Job Description
Automated testing is a crucial aspect of the software development process at Emerson T&M Group. In this role you will assist our team with enhancing and executing maintenance tasks. While you will receive support from experienced team members you will also have ample creative freedom to apply your own ideas.
- Supporting setup and extension of RF test systems
- Installation of Software RF Frontend Cabling Functional Verification in Automated Test Environment
- Independent implementation of small projects
You are passionate about technology and data processing and like to learn and work with the latest software defined radio technologies and equipment.
You take time to ask questions and define the problem and make learning a priority.
You prepare content for communication that is impactful and get in touch with mentors with questions to help drive progress and completion of goals and tasks.
- Ongoing academic studies in Computer Science Information System Technology or comparable field of studies
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g. in Python Shell scripting etc.)
- Readyness to learn and use new programming languages
- Independent working style
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Basic RF knowledge
- Knowledge in process automation and continuous integration (e.g. Azure DevOps)
