Job Description

In support of our business units Mission Engineering Advisory and Technical Services and our partnership with Team Downer as the prime Major Service Provider (MSP) to Defences Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) we deliver Integrated Work Packages and above the line consulting services to the Department of Defence.
The Solution Architect will produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience with adherence to Defence writing standard whilst also effectively prioritise work and deliverables according to specified timeframes. If successful in securing a role your work may involve:
- Developing and maintain a comprehensive mission thread collection plan.
- Work in conjunction with other the Support and Technical teams to develop Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Based Articles.
- Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
- Deliver presentations to Defence and defence industry stakeholders on the Mission Thread body of work and uses.
- Provide input to the ongoing design/development of the Mission Thread Database.
- Lead workshops and working groups to collect information to generate mission threads.
Were seeking candidates with Defence Industry experience in the following areas:
- Previous experience in a similar role ideally within the Defence or professional services industries.
- A natural ability to build trusted relationships with team members customers and partners.
- Previous experience in Military writing and SOPs
- Previous experience supporting projects in a government or Defence organisation. Youll love process coordination and being in an environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
- A strong track record in liaising with resources to ensure services are delivered for current and future demand.
- Strong communication skills and youll also be an analytical thinker who loves solving complex problems.
Our work is highly complex and confidentialapplicants must be Australian citizens with a minimum NV1 security clearance. Additionally compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be necessary. In some cases this may impose restrictions on individuals with dual nationality permanent residency or former nationality of specific countries as outlined in ITAR 126.1.
