Fairbanks Memorial Hospital seeks an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our highly experienced team as we prepare to expand our unit to include 4 new adolescent rooms.
The Opportunity:
Join our team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospitals inpatient psychiatric unit where youll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary group dedicated to patient-centered care. While currently an adult-only unit we are excited to expand in the coming year to include four adolescent rooms the first of their kind in Interior Alaska. We are seeking a board-certified child psychiatrist who is comfortable working with both adults and adolescents to help shape this growing program.
Our department values meaningful patient interactions recognizing that building trust leads to better outcomes. Weekly case staffing sessions with community partners allow us to collaborate and leverage local resources for comprehensive patient support. This is a unique opportunity to help develop a much-needed inpatient program for adolescents bringing an essential service to our community for the first time.
