Job Description Summary
The Athletic Training Student Assistant will support the athletic department for up to 19 hours per week in the athletic training room and assist with football during camp. Duties include assisting with facility upkeep supporting athletic trainers with basic tasks and performing clerical work as needed. This role requires current CPR and First Aid certification. Strong communication skills reliability and a willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities Athletic Training Assistant (Athletic Department): Assist with set-up and cleanup of athletic training stations including preparing ice tubs and organizing materials Fill and refill water bottles roll out water machines and ensure hydration stations are maintained Lift and move items or boxes up to 15 lbs including sports equipment tape and medical supplies Package and unpack athletic training materials and restock inventory as needed Record athlete measurables and maintain accurate logs for inventory and supplies Support student-athlete appointments by assisting trainers with basic tasks and tracking Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training room and work areas Perform other duties as assigned by certified athletic training staff

Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn the support process. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite. CPR and First Aid Certification.
