Job Summary
As a Retail Banker III you are a front-line customer service provider and first point of contact for the banking customer. The Teller accepts retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processes loan payments; cashes checks and savings withdrawals; assists with night depository and vault duties; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining excellent customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Serves as a positive role model with exemplary customer service skills
- Accept and process applications for new business and consumer deposit accounts and assist customers with all servicing aspects of maintaining their deposit accounts.
- Assume full responsibility for proper documentation compliance with established policies and procedures in timely clearing of documentation errors.
- Serve as a commercial and retail internet banking specialist for the market area
- All other duties as directed by the Retail Bank Manager or Officer of Bank

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years Retail Banker (Teller) experience
- Cash handling experience
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- High School Diploma Required
Working Conditions
- Office environment but may have infrequent occasion to work outdoors.
- 40 hours per week Monday through Friday
- Overtime or extended hours occasionally.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties for this job the employee is regularly required to sit use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand walk and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
