Specific Responsibilities:
This position in the Chubb Associate Program will be working in the Chubb Global Tax Department as a Tax Associate. As a Chubb Global Tax Associate you will be expected to:
- Prepare state federal and international tax returns utilizing research and time management skills to ensure returns are timely and accurately filed
- Respond to state notices applying research and verbal and written communication skills to resolve tax disputes with state and local jurisdictions
- Review premium tax filings prepared by a third-party preparer checking for informational and numerical accuracy and communicating corrections as needed
- Participate in tax technical training sessions and work alongside coworkers to learn how to use tax technology such as CorpTax and Longview
- Demonstrate willingness to be a team player work closely with other members of the team around deadlines to ensure returns are filed accurately and timely
Qualifications- Bachelors degree required preferably in Accounting but others will be considered
- GPA of 3.0 or above required.
- Preferred prior work experience including but not limited to summer jobs part-time roles or internships.
- Preferred leadership experience including but not limited to work involvement in community service athletics clubs or other activities.
- Technically adept/digitally savvy
