Job Description
The Preserve at Eisenhower is in search of an experienced spray technician for its 18-hole course in Crownsville MD. The desired candidate would be someone who enjoys working outdoors is a team player self-motivated and appreciates the value of hard work.
Duties include but not limited to mix prepare and apply chemical solutions (insecticides herbicides fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory as well as keeping records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.
Compensation: $18 - $19 / hour
Special Requirements:
- Willing to attend continuing education seminars and classes
- Have no problems wearing spray applicator suites full face respirators or chemical resistant apparel
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Do simple math
- Willing to learn
- Detail oriented
- Keep area neat and organized
Job Description
- Apply fertilizer and chemical applications
- Update spray records inventory and MSDS sheets
- Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders
- General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment
- Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues
